Fancy Pants Bowl

Today was a very lazy day. After enduring a terrible migraine yesterday I decided to take it easy, so that means spending the day inside avoiding the heat. If I was in SF I may have ventured out, but then again it is about 30-35 degrees lower there. Since the Giants aren’t on T.V I really have nothing to do, except meander around online.

maybe next week will be more exciting.

just a quick post from Elk Grove…

We went to the new Nugget market today and they have some really great prepared food, but what I enjoyed most were the decorations. The sink full of ramekins? Straight out of the house of my dreams.

and in the new food movement I suppose everything tastes better drenched in drinks that remind me of college parties.

Since I left the house at 6 I was sort of drained by time we got to the the market and I was a wee bit obsessed with switching a cantaloupe with this cheese

just wanted to see if anyone would notice. Now I’ll take a nap, and be back in the city Thursday. I hope my mix will be waiting for me.

It was 97 in San Francisco today. Nothing cuts the heat like ice cold pineapple. Though I suppose a dip in the pool might, but let’s face it, one wouldn’t really work in the backyard.

I kind of forget what to do during the day. So I end up bored playing with my camera.

I really love my new AE Dress. It will be out many times this summer, and you can take that to the bank.

As my Grandfather said, there will never be another like her. I’m proud to have called her my Grandmother.

Among the many things I enjoy in life; my friends, family, singing at the top of my lungs, knitting and being all around awesome, I really enjoy collecting; bottles with interesting labels, figurines, flowers, bags, train cases, anything to liven up a room. I seem to have inherited that addiction to all things small and adorable from my family, and so a quick peek at my favorites from my Aunt’s & Grandmother’s collections.

Aside from most days being filled with school and sleep Tuesday I had a chance to wander around and take some photos for guesswheresf and was able to get in a little random sign collecting of my own

Wednesday was trivia night at the pub and we came in third again, not in the best way either, I think without Fiona we aren’t as smart as we could be.

Thursday night we went to a random club, for free, which is why we were such a large group on a weeknight, Mandypants even came down from Sonoma. Lots of fun even despite the fact that we got dressed up for a club that turned out to be very casual and have a terrible taste in music.
So we didn’t get much dancing done

Saw Iron Man on Friday and went to a really random house party Saturday night and then went and saw Iron Man again on Sunday because if it was possible for woman and movie to mate I would be one happy camper.
